About Free Spirit Parrot Sanctuary
Education
We believe that education is key to Parrot Happiness. We participate in several Events throughout the year sharing knowledge and experience with our feathered companions. We believe it is important to have a basic knowledge and understanding not only of the bird, but their behaviors, nutritional needs and overall health and wellness. FSPS can be seen doing educational programs at schools, Bible Studies, Renaissance Festivals and more.
Volunteer Opportunities
We rely on the support of dedicated volunteers to help us with events from all over. Each one of our volunteers is given special hands-on training with our birds. Many of our volunteers have come to love each and every bird at the sanctuary. Currently we do not have volunteers help at the sanctuary, but we are planning on expanding in the near future, where we will be able to open up and have volunteers help with day-to-day routines.
