Currently our team is small- comprised of our founders Robert "Birdman" Kirwan, Dr. Amy Bowman and a few volunteers, we are striving to expand our facilities and our volunteer group.

We started out sharing our home with parrots that found their way to us through word of mouth. It soon become clear that the number of parrots seeking sanctuary was profound and we were inspired to do more. We applied for official 501(c)(3) status in 2023 and are working toward expanding our facilities.

We focus on giving forever sanctuary for parrots that often outlive their human companions and get shuffled through multiple homes - creating distress for them.
